The nose is intense and complex with fresh fruit aromas associated to a timbered vanilla taste. The wine is supple and develops fragrance of toasted bread and fruit.

During the 19th century, this estate was considered as being the largest one of Bordeaux as it gathered 350 hectares. After having been destroyed by phylloxera and abandoned, this vineyard became the unique viticultural creation of the 20th century in Bordeaux.
