Ruhlmann Crémant d’Alsace Brut
Grape variety :
60% Pinot Blanc, 30% Auxerrois , 10% Pinot Gris
Conditions of growth : These vines are planted on the plain and at the foot of the hills in alluvial soils, which allow water to percolate but which retain heat.
Winemaking method : Traditional method – same process as that used to make champagne – with a long, steady process of fermentation to build up effervescence, followed by ageing on laths.
• Colour : Pale, clear yellow, with fine bubbles.
• Nose : Fine, subtle aromas, blending with floral and fruity notes of white
peaches and apricots.
• Mouth : An elegant, long–lasting sparkle of very fine bubbles
characterise this Crémant. A positive attack, developing in the mouth
into roundness full of flavor; peach once more, with hints of hazel nut.
Our advice: The Crémant Brut RUHLMANN serves as a sophisticated
apéritif and an ideal cocktail. Its subtle fruity freshness enhances
gastronomic occasions throughout a meal, from foie gras to seafood, from
poultry to desserts.
Temperature : serve chilled, between 6-8°C (43-47°F)
