The Vignobles de l'Alaric are the result of a merger of cooperative wine cellars, bringing together the sites of Barbaira, Capendu, and Marseillette. Our terroir stretches from Montagne d’Alaric in the Corbières massif to a corridor of valleys from Saint-Couat d’Aude to Trèbes, nestled between Carcassonne and Narbonne.

The story begins in 1976, when the cellars of Moux, Douzens, Capendu, and Barbaira came together.

The winemakers from these cellars chose to pool their resources and expertise, creating a union rich in craftsmanship.

Thanks to the diversity of our terroirs, our vineyards benefit from a range of climates and soils that contribute to the rich and distinctive character revealed in our wines.

At the heart of these landscapes—between mountains and plains—our artisan winemakers have passionately cultivated 1,500 hectares of vines since 1976.

This union was born of a shared passion among the men and women who nurture these vines and preserve their heritage.

Vignobles de l'Alaric represents the alliance of 250 winegrowers united by common values: authenticity, innovation, and the transmission of know-how. It is this richness that our winemakers select and unveil each year in our cuvées.
