The discovery a few years ago of traces of Gallo-Roman dwellings not far from Le Claouset suggests that humans have long known how to harness the agricultural qualities of the Entre-deux-Mers soils.
Through successive acquisitions, the Siozard family, established since the mid-19th century on the banks of the Dordogne River opposite the prestigious Saint-Émilion vineyards, cultivates some sixty hectares of vines. Based in Barsac, we also produce a range of sweet wines under the Sauternes and Graves Supérieures appellations, as well as Graves wines.
This long history allows us today to better understand our soil and the unique character of our terroir, enabling us to offer you a decidedly modern range of Bordeaux wines and to meet everyone's expectations while maintaining a family and traditional spirit. Certified in sustainable agriculture “Terra Vitis” since 2016 and High Environmental Value 4 company since 2018, aware of the fragility of our natural environment, we have also been certified organic agriculture since 2022 and are doing everything possible to respect and safeguard it in order to pass it on to future generations of winegrowers.
