The Castelli Martinozzi company is located ten kilometers from Montalcino in a dominant position over the Orcia valley and the hills that mark the border of the Tuscan Maremma to the west.
It has an extension of 160 hectares, in which 14 hectares of vineyards, olive groves, woods, and arable land alternate at an optimal altitude ranging from 400 to 480 meters above sea level.
Various factors, such as the correct exposure of the soil, the lack of fog, and the presence of good ventilation, create a climatic environment that guarantees excellent products even in not-too-favorable years.
The Castelli Martinozzi company is owned by the family of the same name; the first documents naming Villa Santa Restituta are found in the Florentine Diplomatic Archive and date back to 1373, while the oldest recognition for the production of wine was awarded to us in Siena in 1892.
The current family member who runs the company is Federico, who has been following production since 2007 with the aim of seeking the best expression of our terroir in each vintage.
